1. It is a 4 versus 4 type of domination game.
2. A coin toss will determine either the team will control Blue flags or Red flags.
3. Objective: To plant as many flags on certain points until time expires.
4. A group will win a round if:
4.1. A team successfully planted all of their 9 flags on its place.
4.2. A team has the most flags planted on its place after 4 minutes up.
5. There will be 9 flag posts in the battlefield.
5.1 Players can only place one flag in one flag post.
5.2 Players are allowed to remove enemy’s flag from a flag post to reduce their territory points.
5.3 Players are not allowed to hide or take enemy flags with them.
6. The first team to win two rounds wins.
7. Duration is 4 minutes per round.
8. If a tie happens (1-1), a Captain vs. Captain Duel will commence. The duel will only last for 1 minute. The captain that places the most flags in one minute and survived without losing all three of his 1 hit lives wins the duel.
9. At the end of every round played, there will be a sound indicating the round has ended. When players hear this sound they are needed to stand still until allowed to move because this is the time when moderators will collect the flag points from both teams.
10. Players life system:
10.1 One shot = Down (not dead but incapable to move or shoot)
10.2 Player’s life is infinite, meaning there’s no limit of reviving by Medic.
10.3 Downed players need to stay down (sit and both hands up on the air) until recovered by their Medic.
11. Special Medic rules applied:
11.1. Medic revives fallen/downed comrades by putting down the medic’s small blaster aside, then placing both hands on a downed friend for 3 seconds and say "HEAL!“loudly.
11.2. Medic has the ability to self regenerate. Meaning, if a shot landed on the medic, the medic will only need to freeze for 30 seconds before the medic be able to move again.
11.3. Medic needs to wear a special symbol determining that the person is the medic.
11.4. Medic position cannot be transferred to other people.
11.5. Medics are only allowed to use one small blaster (Nitefinder, Maverick, Barrel Break or small Recon with 6 dart clips)
12. Shield rules applied:
12.1. Only 1 shield is allowed in a team.
12.2. No grabbing of enemy shield allowed.
12.3. Shield can only be destroyed by using rockets, missiles and arrows (from Titans, Big Bad Bow etc).
12.4. If a shield is hit by a rocket, the user will also be considered losing one life (down)
12.5. Once a shieldman is down, the shield can no longer be used by anybody in that round.
12.6. Medic cannot be a shieldman.
13. A player can use a maximum of 3 Nerf blasters in a match and a maximum of 100 darts per person.
14. No blaster to blaster hit/contact allowed.
15. Only foam firing blasters and darts/arrows/missiles are allowed to be used. Strictly no BB guns, air guns, plastic bullets, or any unauthorized blasters and darts allowed.
16. No melee weapons or melee hit allowed or counts. Only darts fired from blasters counts.
17. Players should never have direct physical contact (i.e. pushing, hitting, shoving, grabbing, stepping, and kicking) to the enemy. If a contact happens, one or both players may be penalized by being down, leaving the round or the team result in losing the round.
18. Ammo pickups during a game are allowed.
18.1. Ammo pickups for downed players only limited to their downed spot diameter.
19. Players are needed to play fair, honest and clean. Any negative conduct on the arena will result in a penalty of losing the particular player for a certain time or an instant lost for its team.
20. Players are not allowed to harm, move, or lie on to the walls and obstacles provided for the game. Any damage to the properties may result in an automatic lost of a team or compensation may be asked.
21. Attire/Uniforms:
21.1. Players are not allowed to wear any uniform that resemble Brunei military, authority personnel, police force or terrorist outfit in or out of the game.
21.2. Players are not allowed to wear any attire that is considered to be too skin exposed or those that raise sensitive issues to religion, race, public figure or public safety.
21.3. Players are allowed to wear mask for medical and safety purposes. Other kind of masks will need to be inspected for approval before allowed to be used during the game. Military or issue sensitive masks will not be allowed to be used on public.
21.4. Wear shoes and safety glasses to avoid injury.
21.5. Knee, elbow pads and vests are allowed to be used for safety purposes.
22. Contesting teams are needed to come at least an hour early for final registration and deciding the teams’ match number.
23. Team’s failure to show up on time will result in automatic forfeit from the game and may result in an open slot for other waiting team to fight or an instant win to the opposing team.
24. Team names should not be anything considered to be offensive to religion, public or races or by means to disrespect any particular parties.
25. The organizers may change any rules of the game if the organizers sees fit.
26. Players are responsible for their own safety. The organizers will not be held responsible for any liability or injuries during the tournament.
27. Certificates and prizes are only given to participating teams that attended the day of the tournament.
28. All certificates and prizes will be available on the Final Gala Night of Cheo’ Cheo’ Le Long Belait festival night, on the 31st December 2010.
29. The registration fee of $15 is not refundable and part of it will be donated to the Tabung Kebajikan Kuala Belait.
